October, 2011 - Website Completion!
As of October 20, 2011, the website has been completed and every page is now fully functional. We will continue working to add new features, better functionality, and important weather data.
Important Changes:
The severe weather page extension, formerly severeweather.htm, has been changed to severeweather.php to accommodate the new addition of automatic severe weather alerts!
August, 2011 - A New Chapter for AirOn Weather Data & Research
In late spring of 2011, our team of 2 webmasters started working on a new "chapter" for the AirOn Weather Data & Research website. We rebuilt it from the ground up! Over the past 4 months, we redesigned the appearance and layout of our website and completed a web hosting move to expand our horizons for the future. However, due to recent server deadlines, it was necessary for us to upload the new website before its completion. Therefore, multiple web pages are still under construction. We are working hard to get these pages up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy the new website and welcome any comments or suggestions that you have; just send us an email via our contact page.
June, 2011 - Weather Station Hardware Update
Near the end of June, a Daytime Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield was installed on our Davis Vantage Pro2 Weather Station to minimize the effects of daytime radiation on the weather readings. Therefore, temperature readings, dewpoint readings, humidity readings, etc. will generally be more accurate.
Important Notice:
We no longer offer a guestbook or members page on our website for various reasons. If you were a member of our old website, your account was deleted simply because we do not offer this feature anymore.
